About Liz Palmer

Liz is a dedicated learner with four graduate-level degrees, including a JD and LLM, along with several certifications such as CPA. Recently, she expanded her passion for learning into the world of wine, obtaining multiple wine certifications including WSET Diploma and various wine scholar certifications.

As Executive Director of the Texas Wine School, Liz manages operations and owns AOC Selections, a wine retail store, and Art of Cellaring, a wine storage community. With a particular fondness for white Burgundy, Liz is deeply involved in the wine industry, owning a second home in Beaune and serving as a Bourgogne Ambassador.

About John Reyna

John’s hospitality management roles included Restaurant Manager, Sommelier, Banquet Manager, and Executive Steward. John holds a WSET Level 3 Award in Wines. 

John is a professor at the University of North Texas at Dallas. At the School of Business, he teaches Restaurant Management and Beverage Management courses. John and his wife own a beverage consulting company, Teakwood Tavern Hospitality, LLC. They teach wine and spirit educational classes.
